Good evening Patrick,

I think you should clarify with the HDB branch office that is in charge of your unit.

As your HDB was purchased in 2007 thus you should have fulfilled MOP by now. Just that partial ownership was transferred to your mom in 2012, so she might have to fulfill MOP for their ownership share.

If not, you can opt to take over her ownership if you are eligible under single singapore citizen scheme.

Probably you can drop them an email for clarifications and cc me so I will do the follow up for you.

Warmest Regards,

Hi Patrick, the best person to consult will be the HDB branch office of your district. Just make a trip there and you would be able to know whether are you allowed to sell your HDB unit now. Pls feel free to let me know if you need any other assistance.

By law, you can't cos your mum haven't fulfill her MOP. But HDB does allow special hearing for your case. Approach the HDB officer like what Aaron had mentioned. You can get us to help you and in return, most likely we will be looking forward to be able to help sell your unit. Read More

Hi Patrick,

It will be safer to confirm with your hdb branch office regarding this issue, for migration and selling of hdb approval of unique cases. Thanks and I could assist further on this. Let's discuss further.
