If I signed an exclusive agent appointment to sell my HDB unit, valuation done, and decided later not to sell anymore but rent it out. What are the repercussions?

Afternoon,
By signing exclusive, it only permits your salesperson to market your unit. It doesn't prevent your from withdrawing the idea and switching it to rental.
You are only required to inform your salesperson and his company about your change of decision.
