I would like to sell of my 5room hdb in upper boon keng the block next to kallang mrt in may ,then would like to buy a bigger hdb 5I unit at bishan near mrt. Just to check when i should do my valuation and getting an agent to start this going?

What is the agent charge in the market And the rough cost i would incurred for these 2 transactions?

Morning Fion,

For the current market, it would be good to start marketing your unit first while hunting can either be done concurrently or when we have a buyer in hand.
Valuation will be done by the buyer upon getting the Option from the seller. As the the cost that you are likely to incur from the sales and purchase, it will depends on how much loan you are eligible for, the purchase and selling price, how much CPF you have in hand, are you taking bank or HDB loan, etc.
