You can opt to write into HDBto appeal for extension but it would be subjected to approval, based on case to case basis. If you asking price is too high or your salesperson is not doing his duty well, you might need to do some drastic adjustment as HDB might not buy those idea. If it's due to ethnic restriction issue, you might have to provide with objective evidence to support the claim. Otherwise, HDB have the rights to ask you to surrender either unit pay only standard market valuation rate, at best.
