Good evening,

I do understand that you wish to apply for BTO with your SPR wife but do take note that because she's a private property owner therefore she has to dispose it first before both of you can apply BTO.

By the way, have 3 of you fulfill the minimum occupation period? Can your parents financially capable to take over your ownership if you have used CPF OA funds and have loan (if any).

With the removal of your ownership from BTO, perhaps you can do much more.

Hi Sir,

Yes, if you and your parents had met the 5-years MOP, your wife can transfer the condo to your parents name. However, do take note that as your parents are both PR, they will be required to sell off the HDB within 6 months from the transfer.

Also, you will have to wait out a 30 months period after your wife transferred her condo to your parents, before being eligible to apply for a new BTO flat.
