Both the outgoing Tenant and the incoming Tenant will determine the value of the assignment fee. Only in agreement will a deal be reached.
Some items which may contribute to the determination of the assignment fee may include (not limited to):
- details of the prevailing contract with the landlord
- condition (fixtures and fittings) of the premises
- allocation or assignment of staff
- profitability of the existing setup
