Investing in Singapore

I have cash S$250,000, what should I buy ? Will I be able to get more than 5% ROI ? pls advise. I am a Malaysian, my wife is Singaporean.

Dear Benson,

Frankly, 5% ROI is rather low, and you should aim to get at least 8%pa ROI, assuming you are taking 80% financing. Here's my explanation, hope it proves useful to you:-
