What are your investment objectives? If your finances are comfortable, there are still value-buys in the city-fringe regions. However, do note that ABSD of 7% applies if you are a SC getting a 2nd residential property. The loan quantum will also be lower at 50% if you have an outstanding mortgage loan. Hi there,

I would highly advise against getting another unit in Pasir Ris for investment. This is because there are many new projects there and the rental of units face stiff competition, pressing down the rental further.

With the same or similar quantum you pay at Pasir Ris, you'll be able to purchase a unit closer to city with much higher rental and returns.
