I have a private apt at Sophia rd bought with cpf and cash as downpayment and the balance by deferred payment scheme bank loan ( the installment once started will be by cpf or cash bec now my cpf left $0 ).

I have a 4rm hdb at toa payoh bought with cpf and cash as downpayment and the balance by bank loan ( the installment is by cpf or cash bec now my cpf left $0 ).


Later I intend to sell any 1 or 2 of the houses and buy a proper private house for the family to settle down.

However, now, I am confused, is it true that once my Sophia rd apt gets the TOP, then I have only 6mths or 9mths to sell either my Sophia rd apt or my hdb ??

Pls urgently advise ??

Hi sir,

My advise is to sell your Toa payoh HDB flat as you can earn back your CPF and you can continue to use your cpf for the insallment of your private property.

For your question, you would not need to sell any one of the property as one is private property and the other is HDB Property.
