Depending on your financial status and requirements, you can either opt to purchase first, pay the ABSD and claim it back later or sell your HDB while hunting for your preferred property, obtain the OTP for your HDB unit before you place Option for your purchase unit and work on the S&P timing or Sell first, look for temporary place to stay and take your time to choose your ideal unit.
