I currently have a 3 room unit in a condo near bedok. If I were to sell it off and then put up at a rental place for a few months while I look for another condo unit, would I be subjected to the buyer's stamp fee and also what is the maximum loan amount ?

Evening Koh,

All buyers are subjected to standard stamp duty. If you are SC, your first property in holding will not be liable for ABSD. If you are PR, you are liable for 5% ABSD.

As how much loan you are eligible for will depend on your income status, credit record and loan period.

Do feel free to contact me if you have further enquires.
