I bought my second private property and paid the ABSD 3 years ago. My lawyers served me the notice to collect the keys in Dec 16. I only got to know that the TOP date was Oct 16 which was more than 2 months ago through my property tax bill. I am now in the midst of selling my HDB ie first property as I want to claim back the ABSD. The criteria is within 6 months of TOP. I have in fact lost 2.5 months due to the developer's late notice. Do you think it is worth trying to appeal for a longer period to dispose my first property?
