Asked by
I bought a flat at 2013 Sep with my mum and we are both SPR.

Currently we are having a very serious conflict and no longer able stay together.

-Am I allow to sell the flat?

-If not, can I not paying bank home loan and let the bank take legal action?

-How long if I'm not paying home loan then the bank can take the action and force to sell the flat and pay what we owe bank.

How if we owe credit card bill more than 15k and declare bankruptcy and let bank to take our flat to sell at open market?

We don't mind sell below market rate, just want to get rid of it, any solutions or advice?

Evening,

You may try to write in to HDB and appeal to surrender the unit back to HDB or possible chance to place it on the resale market. Charges are way much lesser than defaulting payment which eventually resulted in force sales. Whichever the case, SSD of 12% or 8% will be payable, depending on when your unit is sold.
