I and my late mom bought hdb flat under joint tenancy and now I become the sole ownership as she had passed way. I'm selling the flat. So will her cpf used for the flat be refunded back through my cpf account or given to me in cash. Please advise. Thanks.

Evening Hairudin,

Under joint tenancy, the surviving owner will inherit the unit automatically, after the necessary transmission paperwork have being carried out. If both of you have bought HPS, the outstanding loan will be cleared by the insurance. Upon sales, you will have your contributed CPF returned to your CPF account and the balance will be your cash proceed.

Do feel free to contact me for further discussion.
