I am expecting to collect the keys to my BTO flat 2nd quarter 2017 TOP. How should I plan for the sale of my current hdb flat considering that 1) I need the cash proceeds for the renovation of the new flat 2) I cannot sell the current hdb too early as we have no alternate place to stay or store our current furnishing. When is the best time to sell my current unit? Thanks.

Based on your statement, you will require the extension of stay on the sales of your unit. Depending on the estate, sizing, condition and asking of your unit, you might want to stay marketing your unit in Nov to Dec 2016.
