It is possible to secure loans with the local banks and financial institutions to secure loans for property purchase. However, you will have to provide them with income documents from your work in US for them to process the loan application.

Hi,

Yes its possible, but the relevant supporting documents such as income slips & taxes filed will be required during the bank loan processing. Some of the criteria include age, income and credit profile and any debt obligations outstanding. My banking partners will be in a more professional position to advise further. Good morning,

It's definitely possible to obtain a bank loan from local banks as long as you have income. May I know how can my banker get in touch with you so he/ she is able to advise you on your in principle approval?

As long as you don't have any existing housing loan in Singapore, you will be able to obtain a max 80% bank loan. This is subject to total debt servicing ratio and a max loan tenure of 30 years or retirement age of 65 years old.

Like you, i am a Singaporean, who used to live and work in NYC.

I am now back in Singapore and working as an agent for the past 3 years.

I still have my US bank account, just like i had my Singapore bank account while working in USA.

So as a Singaporean, yes you can secure a bank loan here.
