Hi Peter, have both you and your wife stay in the HDB for 5 years? If so, you are eligible to purchase another condo and keep the HDB. But pls bear in mind that the stamp duty for the purchase of the condo will be 10% + 3% = 13%. Pls feel free to let me know if you need any assistance.

Hi Peter,
Have you met the minimum occupation for your HDB ? You do not need to sell off your current HDB if you plan to buy the Condo. However you are subjected to ABSD for your second property. Feel free to contact me at 9273 6096  for your financial planning and your condo purchase.

Hi Peter, as mentioned by the rest that you are allowed to keep your HDB and purchase the condo provided that MOP is fulfilled, there are 2 other factors that you need to know. 1) if your current HDB is not fully paid, the maximum amount that the bank is willing to loan you is only 50% of the valuation of the next property. What is means is that for 800k property, you would need to have at least 400k cash/cpf. If you include the ABSD/BSD, it could be a stretch for most upgraders. Do give me a call @ 81613790  or email me: propnex@me.com if you would like to find out more on the financial planning to your next home purchase. Hi Peter, as long as u met the MOP (minimum occupation period of 5 years) and your wife is Singapore citizen, she can purchase a private condo. Buying private property must aware of stamp duty, additional stamp duty, seller stamp duty ... You must get banker to perform financial assessment too. I can have a sharing session foc with you.

I can be reachable at my mobile.
