i am a property investor in Malaysia. considering to invest in Sg. i am currently working in Malaysia and considered a foreigner with no income in Sg.
can i qualify for a loan in SG?
can my rental income and salary in malaysia be considered?

Evening Jimmy,

As long as you are able to provide income document and annual income tax statement, you will be able to obtain mortgage loan from local bank to facilitate the purchase.
Do note that as foreigner, you will be liable for ABSD payment of 15% in cash.

As long as you can produce the necessary documents required by the banks, it is definitely possible.

I have done similar cases for foreign buyers who do not reside in Singapore and succeeded in securing a loan with a bank in Singapore, to make the property purchase.

Good evening Jimmy,

You are eligible to apply for mortgage from local banks but rental income wont be taken into the mortgage assessment.

Do allow my bankers to advise you on this. By the way, do take note that you will be subject to 15% additional buyer's stamp duty as a foreigner buyer thus if you are able to obtain max 80% bank loan, your initial outlay will be at least 38% of purchase price.
