Hi Anne,

A 1-bedroom new launch unit can range from as low as $500k+ to up to over $2m. It depends on the location of the property you're looking at.

The cost you will need to put upfront (subject to you getting 80% loan) will be the following:
- 20% cash downpayment
- Buyer Stamp Duty (approx 3%)
- Additional Buyer Stamp Duty (15% for Foreigners)
- Legal Fee (approx $2500)

Should you be not able to get up to the max 80% loan, you will have to top up the shortfall in Cash as well.
