Hi,

Yes since you are SC and have met the MOP of 5 years, typically you can purchase condo, keep both and rent out the HDB. Do note 7% ABSD applies and LTV for 2nd loan is max 50%.

May I have more info and requirements about your plans so to make better recommendations? Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans.

Warm Regards,

Yes, you can purchase a private property and rent out your current HDB. When you purchase the private property, you will need to pay 7% Additonal Buyers Stamp Duties.

In addition, if you need to take a mortgage loan for the private property purchase and you still have an outstanding mortgage on your current HDB flat, the maximum LTV (loan-to-value ratio) is capped at 50% instead of 80%. If the current HDB is already fully paid, then the LTV is capped at 80%.

You can contact me at 8866 7000  for further discussion.
