In the case of negative sales on your sales, the outstanding loan will be cleared first. The balance will be returned to your CPF RA account. You do not need to top up the loses. However, in the case that you want to utilize your CPF funds to purchase another HDB unit, you will need to write in to CPF board accordingly.
