When buying a condo in Singapore, the typical downpayment is 25% of the purchase price:
1. At least 5% must be paid in cash.
2. The remaining 20% can be paid using your CPF savings or cash.
If you take a bank loan, you can borrow up to 75% of the property price (loan-to-value ratio). If you have existing home loans, the downpayment required may be higher.
Additionally, you’ll need to pay stamp duties and other fees on top of the downpayment.
