For a condo purchase in Singapore, the typical downpayment depends on whether you’re taking a bank loan or paying cash:

If you’re using a bank loan, the minimum downpayment is usually 5% cash + 15% CPF or cash (total 20%)

If you’re not taking a bank loan (paying all cash), then the full 20% downpayment must be paid in cash upfront

Additionally, remember you’ll need to budget for Buyer’s Stamp Duty (BSD), legal fees, and other miscellaneous costs.

When buying a condo in Singapore, the typical downpayment is 25% of the purchase price:

1. At least 5% must be paid in cash.
2. The remaining 20% can be paid using your CPF savings or cash.
