How much agent fee should be paid by the tenant to an agent if Tenant has done a walk in viewing with no agent representing him. Rent for unit is 2k/mth and agent says that agent fee payable by tenant is 50%. Shouldn't the commission be paid by the one party only and that being the landlord as it is the landlord's agent and not the 'walk-in' tenant?
