Hi,Me and my friend are both foreigners (Indian).we want to rent 2 common room in a 3 bedroom hdb flat.but the master room not been occupied .Can we rent a flat in this situation.As law suggests foreigner cant rent whole flat ?

Can I read it as you view a place to rent and the master bedroom is lock up. Did you ask for the reason from the landlord or agent representing the landlord?
There must be some reason. landlord might want to use it as storage or unit is still not avail to rent out as a whole
