What is the timeline you are looking at in liquidating the investment? Mid to short term I will advise to look into condominium or apartments as they generate better rental returns and allows for faster exit due to the relatively smaller quantum. In the long term, I will advise on landed since land is scarce in supply here in Singapore therefore it is always precious to own a piece of land in Singapore.

Speculatively speaking , i would say generally , freehold landed property would be a better investment tool . However , again speculatively speaking , very low density condo sitting on freehold land can be very lucrative too if a successful enbloc come by thereafter .
