hi to all agents,

very straight forward question is can hdb resale levy $40k add into hdb loan. instead of paying cash? as i have a few friends that previously is an agent say is able please advise for current market

Hi,

No unfortunately you can't factor resale levy into HDB loan. Highlighting from the HDB website:

"You can pay the Resale Levy with either/combination of the following:
with your sale proceeds or
cash
HDB's mortgage financing is not extended for the payment of the resale levy"

Evening,

Your agent friends might be referring to getting personal loan to finance the levy, instead of adding the levy sum into the mortgage loan.

Why don't you ask your agent friends in greater details?
