Hi there. I'm interested to get clarification on agent fees and who bears them?
I have looked for a couple of rooms that I am keen on and have contacted the agent to view the rooms. I did not ask the agent to help me search for places to view but it was all done on my own.
Wouldn't the owner of the apartment be liable to pay the agent fee and not the person trying to rent the room from the landlord via the agent?
I have heard lots of scams from certain agents where they were to take the agent fees from both sides as it had happen to a colleague of mine prior to this.
