Evening,

Under CEA ruling, seller's agent can only collect commission from seller and the same goes for buyer's agent. If either parties choose to collect commission from the other party, it would result in possible conflict of interest.

Dear Mr Lau,

I saw your post in ST Property Portal too. My colleague has also explained to you that it actually makes little sense in your question as the amount of commissions payable to a seller agent by the seller is usually build into the final selling price, therefore if you look at it, the buyer is paying the final selling price, therefore the seller's agent is indirectly being paid the commission by the buyer in all sales cases isn't it?
