Hi, My wife and I have a HDB and a private condo under our names, market value at about $1.1M. The HDB is fully paid up and condo still has $700K outstanding loan (50/50). Does it make economical sense to transfer the condo to my wife and I purchase another private property under my name only, say at $1.6M. What would be the fees involved?

Dear owner,

Joel has painted a summarised picture on the savings you are looking at for transferring your existing property to your wife solely, but I believe that purchasing a property for investment is never as easy as this. Going forward, you will need to assess your household financial commitment before you proceed.
