HI MR GURU... I AGE 30 AND RECENTLY IVE BOUGHT 50% OF MY DADS SHARE IN HIS 50-50 PORTION WITH MY MUM... AS AFTER PURCHASING HIS 50% . NOW IM THINKING OF BUYING OVER MY MUMS SHARE OF THE OTHER 50% SO AS BOTH MY PARENTS CPF ORDINARY ACCOUNT ARE FREED TO PURCHASE A RESALE HDB FLAT FOR PASSIVE INCOME, NOW THE QUESTION IS , WILL I FAIL THE TDSR FACTOR

Buying over your mother's share of the unit would mean that you will have to get another set of mortgage loan for the purchase. Depending on your income status and credit record, you will need to get the bank to reassess your financial standing again.
