Hi - Landlord has terminated our lease which still has 18 months till end. This was directed by SLA as owner is a deceased estate and one trustee is foreign. They are returning deposit and we don't have to return the property to original state. But asked for one month rent compensation and say cannot. What is reasonable compensation in this instance?
