Hi,
If I asked an agent to source a flat for me, then today, I realised that I may not get to keep my job. If I were to hold the search, do I need to compensate my agent?

There is no purchase made yet, but we've been to a few viewing already, within 2 weeks all nearby one another. How should i compensate my agent for his trouble?

Thanks and Regards,
Darrel

Hi Darrel,

It's not so much about compensation, but rather if you feel that the agent has done a good job, you may wish to consider just giving him a token for appreciation of his work done, but you are not obliged to do so. In general, you will only be required to pay agent fees for a successful transaction done.
