Hi, I would like to sell my existing 2 bedrooms condo@Yishun Emerald and buy a bigger unit @ Bishan (HDB) or Condo/EC (open location), required at least 4 bedrooms and more. Any good suggestions for this move? Planning to rent a unit for around 6 months to 1 year for the transaction period.

Hi Mr Ng, it is good that you are being flexible and do not mind to stay in a rented lodging for that 6 months to a year period while searching for your next home right after selling your place. As due to the weak market sentiment, it may take a longer than usual route to sell your unit currently and so it makes sense to sell first then buy later rather than doing it all at the same time. As for the upgrading plan, it may be a good time for you too. Because you may be selling low but at the same time, you are also buying low for your next home.
