Hi

I stay in a small private development. Company A has rented about 5 apartments to house its IT staff who come on short stays for assignments which can be as short as a week.

As a result, I find that there are many strangers in this small development and am concerned about the security given that no one seems to know who came in and when they left. The visitors also smoke in non-smoking areas, dirty the walls and litter.

Is it legal for companies (local/foreign registered) to rent units for its IT staff to stay on revolving short term?

Would not hotels be the appropriate accommodation?

Is there any infringement?
