It is not about the minimum lease at this point of consideration, but rather when are you looking to exit and at what sort of returns will be attractive for you to be exiting?

When it comes to investment, there are many investors who do not understand the investment cycle fully, therefore they were unable to generate the best returns but held on to the property which may not be generating the best returns in comparison to other projects, thus the importance of defining what type of returns is sufficient for you over what timeline.

Hi,

Ideally, all things equal, it is always best to go for a FREEHOLD property.

However, very few things are equal in this world. Hence, Freehold does comes with a higher price tag. Have you asked yourself, if you're willing to pay a premium for a Freehold property, while enjoying the same rental as a Leasehold condo next to it?

There are pros and cons in each. It very much depends on your investment objectives and horizon. Most important would be to buy within your means, and never ever over-stretch yourself.

Should you need any further assistance in matters relating to property, please contact me at my mobile 9748 6305  . I will be happy to assess and share with you the possibilities for you in the current market.

Thank you.

Best regards,
Robbie Chen
