Hi, I have rented an old condo on a 2 year lease, and after a 1 year period, two of the air cons are leaking, and as per AirCon contractors, they require chemical cleaning/chemical overhaul (for which they will need to dismantle and clean the aircon unit thoroghly). I have gotten the air con serviced every 3 months as per the contract. I want to know if 1)the chemical overhaul is a part of the normal Aircon maintenance obligation of the tenant? 2)Should the cost of this procedure be borne by the tenant or the landlord?
