Hi,
I have a rental related question and hope to get some advice from the general ground or in any case anyone came across such case:-
My house was rented out for a 1-year contract. After 1-month plus of stay, there is loanshark harassment. I am a victim as my address has been misused to obtain loan by ex-tenant(relative). My tenant wants an early termination of the tenancy claiming that he don't enjoy peaceful stay and wanted a compensation of:-
1) 1-month deposit
2) Agent commission that he paid out
3) Mover's fee for shifting in
4) Stamp duties fee
I want to seek your advice, as landlord and victim of this whole incidents, do I need to comply to the above compensation?
