As for the legal fee, if your current unit is purchased under HDB loan, you can engage HDB lawyer, which will cost you less than $600. If you get private lawyer, it would cost you around $2300. Seller do not need to pay stamp duty for sales of HDB units. Salesperson's commission is to be discussed between the you and the salesperson you engaged. You also need to consider the CPF interest, into your calculation.
