Hi. I have a private property and currently staying in it. I would like to purchase a Resale HDB flat and rent the rooms out. According to my research, the owner must stay in the HDB flat if subletting the room. what is the penalty if renting out the rooms with locking up one room?

HDB Rulings was never allowed Owners to rent out their HDB & Lives in Pte.
Because HDB Doesnt wants Owner used HDB as form of investments.
