Asked by
Hi, i bought a flat four years ago and this coming April 2013 will be 5 yrs. Firstly when i bought my flat, my wife was a long term pass holder. The flat was purchase based on myself and my daughter as Singaporean. Actually I have decided to market out the flat this coming Feb 2013. But i have a question, do i need the signatory approval of my wife even though she is only a occupier on the HDB sale contract to sell the house. FYI my wife got her PR after the purchase of the flat.

Evening,

Under the current ruling, your spouse's approval is required for the sales of your unit, under the "Spouse consent to Sell, though her signatory is not required on the OTP.
