Morning Raymond,

You are eligible to purchase resale unit, under single scheme.
But to purchase a new unit with your mum, it might be an issue.
As your parents are considered as one, to purchase the new flat, you might need to include your dad's name as essential occupier and they have to sell away their existing unit.

FYI.

Hi Raymond,

you cannot buy direct from HDB if you are only using your own name. However, you can purchase from the resale market.

If you are planning to buy direct from HDB, you would need to include both parents as they form a family nucleus. You would also have to note the number of times which they have already bought flats direct from HDB.

After you have selected the new HDB unit, you would need to sell the current unit within 6months of collecting your keys.

Do let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Bernard
