Hi I am renting whole unit HDB and will expire on May 15. My EP will expire on Apr 5, still in process to renew. If i dont have the new EP by Apr 5, will i be charged for penalties by landlord?

Hi there, I recommend that you discuss with your landlord or your own representative real estate agent to mitigate, as this is not of any fault of yours that you are unable to continue employment here. However, it also depends on your Tenancy Agreement, and how harsh your landlord is. Some landlords can be quite compassionate. Read More
