Good to hear that you intend to buy a property in Singapore. I am very sure that it will be a great investment decision. For your info, as you are a foreigner, there will be an Additional Buyer Stamp Duty (ABSD) of 15% which is payable on the purchase price.

But first and foremost, do take note that you will be subject to 15% additional buyer's stamp duty as a foreigner.

Thus your initial outlay will be about 38% of the purchase price.

1) 20% downpayment
2) estimated 3% buyer's stamp duty
3) 15% additional buyer's stamp duty etc

By the way, have you speak to any bank in regards to your in principle approval (bank loan)?
