It depends. Is your mum a 1st time buyer? Are you also a 1st time buyer?

Generally speaking, grants are only applicable for singles who are aged 35yrs and above, but if said single were to form a family nucleus with another family member, for eg, your mum, then the assessment would be different.

Hi, yes you will be able to purchase a resale flat and there will be grants, though it is subject to your income. I will be able to provide more advice if i can get to know more about your situation. You can also apply for an HFE, and it will tell you what you are eligible for as well as what grants you can obtain.

If you are a Singapore Citizen, it is quite likely you will be eligible to purchase a resale HDB with your mum as essential occupier. This purchase is not under single's scheme thus assessment for grants will not be based on purchasing as single. Submit your HFE application and you should be able to get some of these answers you are checking for.
