Hi Gurus,

I'm currently looking for a HDB 5-Room in Tampines. I'm planning to secure a house( move in ) by end of June'2010
Presently, me and my girlfriend are Singapore PR.

My questions are:
a) Do i need to ROM first before putting up the Option to purchase. I heard some of my friends mentioned that there is a grace period for this.

b) How do I apply for HLE?

I need an agent to assist me on this.

Hi Mr Low,

HLE (HDB housing loan eligibility) is open to Singapore Citizens only. In your case, you need to apply for bank loan.
Remember that on the cash portion, besides the COV, 5% needs to be cash and bal 5% from CPF.

You are required to produce your ROM cert by the HDB 2nd Appt.
