HI Gurus
I have rented a 3 bedroom private apartment in condo for a 2 year lease and am about to complete a year into the lease. My situation has changed now and I don't now need 3 bedroom and would like to move into a smaller apartment. Also my employment has ended due to restructuring at my organisation so I have now financial limitations. The rental agreement has a diplomatic clause which mentions the contract can be terminated after completion of 1 year if my employment has been transferred to another country or my employment pass have been rejected or if I have been deported.
Can I actually make a case to terminate the contract after completion of 1 year in the lease? If possible then am i liable to compensate any amount to the landlord?
Views would be appreciated.
Thanks
