Hi gurus,
I have a fully paid HDB and an additional commercial shophouse with a valuation of 1.4M fully paid as well.
I am looking to buy a new property with a value of around $2M. I understand that a fully paid HDB entitles me to a loan of 80%. which means i have to fork out $400k and with additional buyer stamp duty of $254600. This means i have to have $654600. i would like to know how much loan i can get with my shop house? or it differs from banks to banks?

Hi Alex, I believe the 80 percent refers to the loan to value of the property. it also differs when you are getting a commercial or residential property. do furnish us with more information such as your intended purpose, type of property you are getting and a more detailed financial information.
