hi Gurus,
I am wondering why the hdb price in singapore is going illogically high.
but the econimic situation is not so strong where companies are not renewing contract and some of my colleagues going back to china,phil,ind etc.
salaries also not improved much. but still hdb price and cov is going high. why buyers not considering theese factors?

Hello Chris,

Judging by your response, you'll be shopping for a HDB flat.

However, in that, also lies your answer. You are the one about 50,000 buyers looking for a flat to buy, having said that, 85% of Singaporeans out of 3.5Million of them, are NOT moving, thus to them, it is perfectly logical for the HDB prices to be moving skyward.

You yourself will see the benefit of this yourself after you've gotten your own place and have lived in it for 10-15years.

Alternatively, consider private property. There are some plots that you can get a private apartment for a fraction the price of a high end HDB.
