Hi Gurus, I am on behalf of my wife who has a 3 rm HDB in Tanglin Halt (10 Storey). Unit located on the ground floor. My enquiries below:

1) Intend to get a same unit size with lower price as to maximize profit. Understand that the valuation for the unit is around $200K-$300K. Not sure which part of Singapore sells lower than the valuation mentioned.

2) Just for info, currently my wife has paid a total of $44,005.78 to the house with an accrued interest of $5086.81 if the house is sold. Balance of $78,238.33 with 22years 11mths to clear. Have already surpassed the MOP period.

Reason being is for my wife to clear her outstanding with HDB as soon as possible (by selling high and buying low) and not to have her name as the owner of the house as currently it is occupied by my father, mother and sis in law.

Both of us intend to get our own house either to stay or invest since we are staying at my place now with my parents.
