Hi Gurus, could anyone tell me if fiance/fiancee or engaged SC/SPR couple could register "intent to buy" for resale HDB? If yes, when is the latest time to produce the marriage certificate? Will it affect the CPF Housing Grant? Thank you!

Hi,

Yes they can register Intent to Buy. It has to be produced during HDB completion appointment (typically 3.5 months away from putting option deposit) if you are taking cpf housing grant. May I have more info and requirements about your plans so to make better recommendations? Thanks and look forward to value-add to your housing plans.

Hi,

Yes. Couple has to register "intent to buy" for resale HDB.
In fact, the very 1st thing that couple must do is apply for HLE or approach bank for financial support before register "Intent to buy".

Marriage certificate has to submit at the final completion appointment at HDB (there are only one appointment now).

But if you are applying CPF housing grant, it is better to have the marriage certificate before resale application submission.
As the grant is coming from CPF board, they will need time to process in order to provide the fund.
You shall be informed of the success upon submitting necessary document such as marriage certificate during resale applicaiton submission. Otherwise, there will be delay in providing the grant.

Hope the above answer to your main concerns, but if there are more queries, please feel free to contact me at 90110636 , or email: ling.ck7@gmail.com if more information is needed.
I'll be glad to assist.
